Current Congresswoman Martha Roby, R-Montgomery, announced last year she would not be seeking a sixth term in the House of Representatives. Moore previously ran for Congress in 2018, unsuccessfully challenging Roby in the GOP Primary.
Five candidates are competing with Moore for the Republican nomination, including former Attorney General Troy King, Dothan businessman Jeff Coleman, Prattville businesswoman Jessica Taylor, Montgomery electrician Bob Rogers and former Bush administration staffer Terri Hasdorff.
