Primary 2026: Statewide and constitutional office primary results

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Three days after the election, Alabama’s 2026 primary results are set.

Out of the 3.81 million registered voters in the state, 879,785 Alabamians went out to the polls to cast a ballot on Tuesday. That’s a voter turnout of 23.12%.

Viewing election results can be a little bit clunky. The secretary of state’s website is slow at times, and there are just so many pages to scroll through.

Here’s a results breakdown of the statewide and constitutional office races on the ballot.

U.S. Senate

Result: Barry Moore and Jared Hudson head to a runoff.

Governor
