MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Just five days out from the primary election, the Club for Growth PAC endorsed Republican candidate Katherine Robertson in the race for Alabama attorney general.
The D.C.-based organization includes the Club for Growth Action, the prominent conservative super PAC that spends heavily in state races.
“Katherine Robertson is a conservative champion committed to protecting the rule of law in Alabama,” Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh said in a release. “As Chief Counsel, Robertson beat back Biden’s regulatory overreach, protected free speech, and supported school freedom. Club for Growth PAC is proud to endorse Robertson in the race. Alabama needs a fighter for Attorney General.”
To date, Club for Growth has not contributed to Robertson or spent money on her behalf. The group has been engaged in the state’s U.S. Senate race, in which it has spent millions supporting the candidacy of Congressman Barry Moore and attacking his opponents.
Robertson said she is proud to carry the Club’s conservative seal of approval.
“Earning the Club for Growth’s endorsement is important because I share its bedrock principles of limiting government, opposing overregulation, and ending frivolous lawsuits that clog our court system and hurt businesses’ ability to grow our economy,” Robertson said.

“Most importantly, the Club for Growth and I both stand shoulder-to-shoulder with President Trump in always putting America first and making the greatest nation the world has ever known even greater,” she added.
The Alabama Farmers Federation’s FarmPAC, the Republican Attorneys General Association and Coastal 150 have also endorsed Robertson.
She is running against Blount County District Attorney Pamela Casey and former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Jay Mitchell for the Republican nomination.
