U.S. Senator turned gubernatorial candidate Tommy Tuberville has now raised just over $4 million, and has no significant opposition, more than 10 months from the 2026 Republican primary.
He had nearly $3.8 million on hand at the end of June, according to his latest campaign finance information.
Tuberville received 19 major contributions last month, defined as those over $20,000. Three were for $100,000 from insurance broker Vig LLC, in Vestavia; Marsh, Rickard and Bryan Law in Birmingham; and real estate company Broadway Group in Huntsville.
His June report also lists dozens of donations from individuals, ranging from a few to thousands of dollars.
“I am thankful for the outpouring of support we have received from every corner of the Yellowhammer state,” Tuberville said in a written statement. “When Suzanne and I were praying about getting in the race, we knew we wouldn’t move forward unless Alabama was on board. But we aren’t getting complacent. Like I said when I was coaching, we have to run like we’re 10 points behind. I have fought every day to represent Alabama’s conservative values in Washington D.C. and will bring that same fight to Montgomery when I’m elected Governor.
Tuberville officially entered the 2026 contest in May and effectively cleared the field of GOP competitors. He raised about $3 million in about a week after announcing.
The only other candidate raising money currently is Democrat Chad “Chig” Martin.
