Mills promoted to principal at Williams & Jensen

Jordan Mills is now a principal at D.C.-based law and lobbying firm Williams & Jensen.

Mills, a Montgomery native, joined the firm last year as senior director of government relations and led its expansion into Alabama.

“Williams & Jensen is committed to expanding its presence in the state of Alabama,” said Susan Hirschmann, the firm’s chairman and chief executive officer. “Jordan is driving the firm’s efforts to serve Alabama clients, and his promotion to Principal reflects the exceptional work he has done and of the firm’s focus on serving Alabama.

“I am proud to hail from Chilton County and know that my home state has untold potential for continued economic growth. Alabama businesses and public entities will benefit greatly from the seasoned expertise Williams & Jensen can provide in navigating the corridors of power in Washington.”

Mills will continue to advise clients on federal policy and government relations strategies in his new capacity as a principal.

“… W&J has been a great place for me to grow and learn from the best in the business,” Mills said in a statement. “I’m so grateful to Susan Hirschmann and all the partners for this opportunity. Williams & Jensen has been a leader in our industry for decades. It’s the perfect place for me to give our current and future Alabama clients the best representation in Washington.”

Before joining the firm, Mills was an Alabama regional director for U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville.
