MONTGOMERY, Ala. – In was an interview-heavy episode this week on Capitol Journal, as we dedicated most of the broadcast to in-depth interviews with guests.
Secretary of State John Merrill explained a number of complex election issues, including the contests to elections in Senate District 27, Etowah County and Lauderdale County.
Dr. Karen Landers, chief medical officer for the Alabama Department of Public Health, offered a COVID-19 update and also discussed the latest with the baby formula shortage and Monkey Pox.
And political consultant David Mowery offered analysis of the May 24 election, including a look forward to the June 21 runoffs.
