In just a few months, IAP will mark 40 years in publication. The first issue arrived in all its gray paper glory on July 26, 1985, published by T.J. Potts and written by Bessie Ford. Technology and ownership have changed over the years, but what hasn’t is the appetite Alabama politicos have for being privy to the inside account of what’s really going on in the halls of power from Montgomery to Washington.
