MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Did you catch the latest episode of Capitol Journal?

We covered the busy week that was in the State House, including the ARPA oversight meeting and the budget hearing for the Alabama Department of Corrections.

Bureau of Pardons and Paroles Director Cam Ward discussed the case of Jimmy O’Neal Spencer, electronic monitoring and the progress being made to open the Perry County facility.

And Steve Murray of the Alabama Department of Archives and History discussed the effort to return sensitive artifacts to Native American tribes.
