AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn University is No. 15 on Forbes magazine’s 2022 list of “America’s Best Employers for New Grads.”
It’s the highest-ranked university on the list that includes 300 employers from across the country, ranging from NASA to Chanel, Delta Airlines and Apple.
Auburn’s spot put it ahead of not only other prestigious universities but companies like Google and Microsoft.
The list was compiled through research by Forbes and Statista in which they surveyed 20,000 Americans who had less than 10 years of experience and were working for a business with at least 1,000 employees. It is available online HERE.
In a statement, the university attributed the ranking to the various benefits it provides full-time employees, including four weeks of paid vacation each year, full-tuition waivers for undergraduate and graduate classes, discounted season tickets for Auburn athletics.
Auburn has received attention for its workplace environment before. In 2021, Forbes placed the university on their “Best Employers in Alabama” list. It was also recognized in 2017 on Forbes’ list of “America’s Best Midsize Employers.”
“We work hard to meaningfully invest in our faculty and staff, and that includes our newest employees,” Auburn University President Christopher Roberts said in the statement. “I’m happy that the hard work by so many across our campus is recognized and appreciated.”
