MONTGOMERY, Ala. – On the latest episode of Capitol Journal, we reviewed a busy week of news from around the state: the SD27 saga, the state prison bond sale, Greenetrack back taxes and other items.
Jimmy Parnell, President and CEO of the Alabama Farmers Federation, talked about the challenges facing farmers with lagging rainfall, rising inflation and historically high fuel process.
I also discussed the impact of the Supreme Court’s recent abortion ruling with guests on each side of the issue: Rep. Terri Collins, who sponsored the 2019 Human Life Protection Act, and Stephen Stetson, Director of Planned Parenthood Alabama.
